Houston Area Parkinson Society will host the 9th Caregiver Conference on Saturday, November 12th. This special, full-day educational event is designed exclusively for those caring for individuals with Parkinson’s disease (PD). The conference offers participants helpful, practical information that is important to understanding and managing care of someone with PD. Caregivers will have the opportunity to learn new skills and discover resources that focused on the care of their loved one as well as self-care. This year’s program will be held in-person giving caregivers time to meet and share with others in the caregiving role.
Join us Saturday, November 12th (yes, we know it is Nutcracker Market weekend too) at The Briar Club 2603 Timmons Lane Houston 77027 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm.
This event is exclusively for caregivers and care partners. We respectfully request that individuals with Parkinson’s do not attend this program. Registration for this event is open and is required for those who participate.
